Welcome to the Book Quest Blog!
Take a journey with us through the worlds of graphic novels and teenage chapter books. This father-and-son duo is dedicated to exploring great books that will spark your imagination and magnify a love for literacy.
Meet the Team:
Bryce: A little book hoarder; Bryce is a graphic novel and YA literary writer in the making. As a middle-schooler, he is something of a seasoned veteran when it comes to being the top dog in his school’s advanced reading programs and almost always wins first place at our local library during summer reading challenges. Having him bring his sharp mind and perspective to all things books is another step in our quest.
Brian: An aspiring writer and devoted father. Though he makes his living in an entirely different field, his love for books and support of his son’s interests have brought him into the world of YA and graphic novels (trading card games, animated series and many other loves of Bryce). Together, they enter this literary quest to share their discoveries with fellow readers.
Our Mission: To be of benefit to young readers and their parents.
At Book Quest, we are committed to reporting information and insights about young adult novels (ages 12-18) and graphic novels (ages 10-15) to produce content that will lift the spirits of our audience. We want parents to participate through the selection process and ensure that their choices reflect their family values and expectations. Our mission is to help young readers and their families through our recommendations and content.
